Ontonagon State Trunkline Changes 2006

With the completion of the new Ontonagon River bridge in the Village of Ontonagon in October 2006, several state trunkline changes have ocurred. The map below illustrates those changes. US-45 remains largely as-is, whereas M-64 has been diverted to use the new bridge and now terminates at US-45 south of that highway's previous junction with M-38. M-38 itself has also been diverted along the newly-constructed eastern approach to the new bridge, terminating at US-45 where M-64 meets it coming from the west.
