M-107: Proposed Westerly Extension (1965)

The following map illustrates the proposed westerly extension of M-107 from Lake of the Clouds along the Lake Superior shoreline, merging into the recently-completed South Boundary Rd east of the Presque Isle River Unit of Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park from 1965. This extension was not constructed and M-107 terminated at the Lake of the Clouds Overlook until its decommissioning in 2008.
