Mackinac Island Street & Trail Map: Detail 1

Below is an excerpt from the front ("whole-island") side of the Mackinac Island map by Chris Bessert. It shows a portion of the east side of the Island from Ste. Anne's Cemetery on the west to Arch Rock on the east. Some notable features include the locations of picnic tables along Lake Shore Rd (M-185) at Dwightwood Spring, Arch Rock and Hennepin Point as well as the ones at Fort Holmes and Sugar Loaf; accurate depictions of the various foot trails in the area; the Mile 1 milemarker along M-185; the so-called "Reservior Route" depicted with a lightly-dashed grey line; and the relocation of the North Bicycle Trail from Sugar Loaf to Rifle Range Road.
